About Scott Swedenburg

For over 32 years, I’ve helped guide businesses and nonprofits to experience real success, but my passion is nonprofits. I love helping rescue missions, children’s homes, animal rescue organizations, churches, and many other great organizations tell their story in a way that grows hearts and changes lives.

Seeing the organizations I serve create WOW experiences that lead to smiles from supporters, volunteers and clients – puppies smile too – is why I do what I do. I’m also very thankful for all those who have supported me on my journey.

In my free time, I’ve written two books, Lessons from a Mama’s Boy, a fun guide to having success in business and life, and My Dad, The Model about how my dad modeled life. I also love speaking to organizations on how to create a WOW Experience and Grow Hearts. Whether it’s about customer service, fundraising or marketing , speaking to businesses and organizations including The Direct Marketing Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, CityGate Network, Advertising Federation and Alabama Banking Association has been a blast.

I even get to share my ideas as a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated radio program, The Small Business Advocate, and as contributor to Fundraising Success magazine and other industry journals.

Outside of work and speaking, I love my family, Kathie – my wife, golf, and going on mission trips around the world.

About Juliana Larocco

As a veteran of rescue ministry, I’ve served 25 years as a public relations and chief development officer for two large Midwestern rescue missions, and 20 years as a development and public relations consultant for dozens of ministries.

During those years, I’ve led successful PR campaigns, assisted ministries in overcoming negative publicity, spearheaded capital campaigns and facilitated board retreats to design strategic plans.  But my real love is walking alongside new or evolving development teams to help them set, implement and reach their goals without burning out in the process!

I’ve been “in your chair” and that means I’ve lived the challenges and rewards a development leader experiences each day while raising resources to serve the most vulnerable in the community. I’m committed to teaching and training development leaders to build strong, successful and God-driven teams who are there for the long haul.

As a very busy “Oma” with 14 grandkids, I want to use the time I’m not with them to spread my many years of experience and knowledge with a few great rescue ministries who want to thrive.  Does that describe you?
